Time passes; Liz

Well...

So the con happened. Lots of interesting things to do. Lots of pretty things for sale (managed to not buy a Thud board). Lots of pretty things. Lots of interesting wonderful people, some of whom I knew vaguely before. Lots of bizarre people and happenings. Loads of fun.

And a Liz.

Well maybe I haven't just been lazy not to update this. I have been rather busy. I had work on too. Actually, my time is pretty well taken up into the near future, over-allocated in various places. Who wants a dull life?

So yes, there is a Liz. And a Liz and I; an Us. And it is *vom*ish and cutesy and wonderful, and it is Real and Good. I like this.

Writing this at Liz's, while she is at college and Adam at nursery. I'll be here until Sunday, when I will go home. And then Freshers' Week will happen, involving me doing things I have previously volunteered to do, like manning stalls, helping out at CompSoc's Technology Fair, and possibly giving tours of our Science+Engineering campus, the King's Buildings. But since I don't know them like the back of my hand, and can't talk, I wouldn't be too upset if I couldn't do that. I do have Wed-Fri taken up already.

Then term starts. Back to uni. Well, it's the same building I've spent all summer in; back to my course being the point. The final year of my degree. I should choose courses. I must concieve of a project, which is the larger part of this year. And it must be good, or I shall not forgive myself.

Not long after that, Liz will be coming up to Edinburgh. This should be fun. There are lots of interesting places to go and things to see and do, if I can come up with them. What, me coming up with good ideas? Well never mind, I'm sure we'll have a good time. And people will meet Liz, and this will be fun and interesting.
