Well hello.

I'm sitting here writing this in Newcastle. Fortunately, I'm only there by virtue of sitting in a train at the station ;)

Yeah, so I enjoy the occasional gadget. My new phone, like the old, does bluetooth and GPRS, so I'm sitting with the laptop chatting on IRC and posting this. The new phone is of course a bit shinier (Motorola V500, should you care, don't want to get too caught up with new things), and is charging in the socket to the side of my seat. The first time I've actually got to use one of Virgin's sockets... This time, like others, it was standing room only when I got on at Sheffield, though I got a seat at Leeds. Swings and roundabouts...

Anyway, coming back from LizHouse. Back to Edinburgh. Probably done me good to get away, have a nice weekend somewhere else. Thoughts a bit scattered right now...

Oh yes. Enjoyed going out for curry last night, although my dish wasn't particularly interesting; I think without the whole chillis it would have been blander than bland. But... Kingfisher on tap! Mmm.

And snow. I like snow. Passing picturesque snowy fields before, the occasional solitary tree outlined against the sky. Great.

Bye for now kids.

Attendum

Posted the next day. Not much GPRS coverage on the east coast line past Newcastle...

One of these days I intend to make it north of York.

Anyway glad you enjoyed the weekend and things are back on track (no pun intended)

lone trees in snowy fields are good. I wish I had my camera earlier since although campus lacks lone trees in snowy fields it did have a lone duck standing on the frozen lake.

Anyway I'm waffling.

have fun

One of these days I intend to get off at York station again.

Off the train that is. Stop twisting my words around!
