Things happen

Hello.

Things happen.

One week ago today, yes, last Saturday, I went for a walk with Andrew in the Pentlands. Penicuik, to Turnhouse Hill, Carnethie Hill and Scald Law via a wood and some fields. Back through the valley past the reservoir to the mythical Flotterstone. As is the way of all the best days walking, this fine day culminated in dinner at the Flotterstone Inn, an appropriately good Steak and Ale pie I had, and pudding indeed! My appetite for hillwalking is fueled, not sated.

Things happen.

In about four weeks, I go to Tallinn, Estonia. Yes. Kind people are paying for me to go to the APPSEM workshop on the week of the 12th April. I look forward to this. Never been to Estonia. Never even got as close as Poland the year before last, contrary to my rough plan. Yes. Tallinn.

Things happen.

The past week was interesting. Liz was up for her interview with the Edinburgh College of Art for their fashion course; fingers crossed she gets in. On another front, my mother has got the job! Yes, she will now be a Nursery Co-ordinator at Perth College Nursery. Woo! Well done, you'll be great.

Hillwalking good.

I would love to do more, especially if I get to climb them with you.

You didn't mention the music you got, though. May have to recommend some more at you when I've figured out what you like.

Oh, and congratulations to your mum on her new job!

Helen

Job!

Thanks, am looking forward to the challenge! Glad you have such faith in me, i'll remember it when snowed under.
